The Special Services Learning
Lab provides academic assistance to students outside the clasroom through
individual and group tutoring. Areas generally tutored at the lab include
mathematics, writing, science, business, computers and music theory. In addition,
tutors help with study skills in any course. Occasionally, the lab provides
additional academic help in some courses through a supplemental instruction
leader program.
Peer tutors are selected for their academic knowledge and skills, plus their ability to relate to other students. Tutoring is available upon request by students or through referrals by faculty. Students may also receive assistance in writing papers required for any course. Free, by appointment only.
